Celebrate the Fourth of July in College Park!

This year, The University of Maryland and the City of College Park will work together to host a Fourth of July celebration that's sure to be fun for the whole family! The event will take place at Lot 1 adjacent to Campus Drive off Adelphi Road at the University, and it is open to the public.

The Fourth of July event will feature fireworks at dusk and live music. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and other seating to use while watching the fireworks. If you get hungry, there will also be concession stands serving all-American favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, funnel cake, snow cones and more. If you choose to bring your own picnic, coolers and picnic baskets are permitted.

The event begins at 5 p.m., and entertainment begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks will start at approximately 9 p.m.
